Overview

The Entertainment Business Master of Science at Full Sail University provides an advanced exploration of the specific business and management skills needed to lead and excel in the entertainment arena. The curriculum is balanced to cover topics in executive leadership, advanced entertainment law, finance, brand development, and negotiation. Through exploring the strategies of top executives, students will learn to exercise and develop their own leadership abilities. Students will work with industry-standard tools, including Microsoft Excel and Project Plan 365, and will be encouraged to explore and practice using generative AI models and tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM, and Adobe Firefly in support of their business judgment.

At the conclusion of the program, students will have cultivated a comprehensive capstone project—a formal business plan—which will require making practical use of techniques in project management, financial planning, publishing and distribution, contract negotiation, branding, and digital marketing acquired through their studies. The curriculum prepares students to enter or advance through pivotal roles across the entertainment industry. As the field increasingly adopts AI-assisted tools and techniques, students will learn to implement them responsibly and professionally to enhance productivity, support decision-making, and strengthen business outcomes. Graduates will exit with a portfolio of business plans, strategy, and project work, assembled to professional standards and suitable for presentation to employers and clients.
