The Project and Portfolio I: Creative Writing course employs project-based learning in a collaborative environment to advance industry readiness and further develop professional skills. Students will examine the current communications and media landscape to identify high-demand skill sets. They will utilize tools of revision, editing, word economy, industry-standard formatting, and software to enhance written projects. Additionally, students will create a career plan, which includes developing a professional brand, website, and résumé.
